As I compose this letter I look out at the pergola and a smile comes onto my face. The neat, slim lines of the structure make it attractive and the matching of the colour to that of fence and facias make it fit in perfectly as part of the outdoor environment. The pergola fits in so well and unobtrusively that my daughter did not notice the change till it was pointed out to her. The attention to detail in the finish was noticeable to me once I saw the finished product. Caps on the end of all beams and over the brackets holding the aluminium rafters result in a very tidy finish.Thank you to all involved, especially the tradesmen who carried out the construction. They were careful of the garden and the existing structures and were well mannered and pleasant to deal with.Already one neighbour has shown interest in the pergola and I have handed him the brochure from my file.
